I think they would if they have permission to do so, but at the same time why should the NRL get special treatment over all the bars, restaurants and cafes? They shouldnt be a special case, and it appears they are getting treated as such. If the NRL had the money in the bank to ride this out, the season wouldnt be starting until we got fans back in the stadiums because without the fans we are basically seeing ( and i've heard this from a few players i've spoken to ) glorified training sessions. The NRL simply should have to abide by the same rules as everyone else imo. They are no more important than anybody i have mentioned.
We still need some specifics as well about it all ( which have been light on the ground so far ). Are NSW based players going to have to be quarantined away from their families? I'd say to keep things safe they would need to be because if not, there is a big flaw in the system as the NRL have no jurisdiction over what they do. The other issue i heard today from some doctor on the radio which could also be a problem is what happens if a player ( god forbid ) gets a really bad injury and needs an ambulance and paramedics and doctors. Are the NRL going to have an ambulance, paramedics and a doctor quarantined with the players, refs, coaches, groundsmen etc? If they dont, your system has a flaw in it, abliet it would be a small one, but could still have impact.

Thats the thing, we need the details. I think the total isolation thing is going to be the hard part.
