20 round competition, round 3 starting on May 28th. Grand Final on October 25th. State of Origin TBA.

Will Croft be back by then? Could have been the biggest blessing for us. I’m guessing tpj is still suspended?

Croft will be back. He was only going to be out for 3 weeks. We should have Lodge back, as well. Along with Glenn.

If we eradicate the virus in Australia, and maintain strict 2 week isolation on anyyone incoming into the country, it's not out of the question. I can hope that Australia and NZ can be the only two countries in the word to still operate domestically but that's more of a covid discussion than it is an NRL one.

NRL have held discussions with the QLD Government.

If their travel plans are approved by the National Cabinet, QLD teams will be able to stay home and the border will be opened for all NRL travel.

NRL clubs will most likely charter their own planes like they did in rnd 1 and 2 so I don't think the governments will have to much of an issue with it by the time the season kicks off.

The NRL promised the new pay deal would be this week, it hasn't been done. Green and RTS are the drivers. The NRL haven't kept their deal and I wouldn't be locating to another country without a pay deal.

Smith isn't at the heart of anything but all the delegates from the clubs agreed not to make NZ move without a pay deal.
