NSW Team...

So a winger with potential you shouldn't invest in in advance
But a prop with potential you should?

Cuckoo_clock.gif

Not to mention, the winger with potential has played test football. And the prop with potential has shown very little at club level.

Add to that the fact that Inu at least played great footy for an entire year, something Taylor has yet to achieve...

But schmix, the real parameters here are:

Inu not being paid much supports his argument that Parramatta aren't anywhere near their cap and therefore Daniel Anderson, head coach of Parramatta, doesn't know a thing about Parramatta's salary cap situation.

Taylor being paid shit loads supports his argument that that's a fair investment.

Just like Farah's try not being luck but rather being out of sheer determination and outstanding ability to read a game supports his support of New South Fails.

Whereas Lockyer's try was pure luck...also supports his support of New South Fails.

He should go into politics!

This is how I read it:

Hmm. Doesn't seem like they're buying it. Maybe if I just say the exact same thing again, but add a few more words in, I'll beat them into submission with repetitiveness.

Oh I know, I'll also bump up the price for Inu to 250k, rather than the original 200k we were talking about, just to make it seem a bit more unreasonable.

Go QLD! QUEENSLANDER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

LOL at Bellamy

"And again Israel, if anyone watches him pretty closely at the moment, he's obviously wonderful under that high ball but if anyone gets in his road competing for the ball and he gets a little bump, he hits the ground straight away.

So Issy is a diver now - if he is, I wonder which dirty-tactics implementing club taught him that?

At let's see - who do NSW have on the wing ummmmmmmmmmm oh yeah - Jared Hayne!!!!

http://www.foxsports.com.au/story/0,865 ... 93,00.html

So he's complaining about officials being influenced by coaches' media statement in an attempt to influence the officials.

4 in row, thanks NSWRL selectors!

They just don't have a clue do they? Campese has a poor game and he gets the boot. Instead of recognising the issue and working to fix it, they just dump him.

I can't remember which year but I remember when we lost an opening game against the Blues due a very poor kicking game from Lockyer and Thurston, next game they turned it around. They LEARNED from their mistake and corrected it. Instead of doing the same with Campese and Wallace, getting them working together they've gone for a whole another combination.

Give yourself an uppercut too Bellamy for going along with it. No sign of a coach working with his team in that decision.

This has been NSW problem for ever basically - bad game, you get punted. Qld tend to give players a fair crack at it before saying they aren't good enough. You need time to build combinations and when you only get to play together 3 times a year, common sense says keep them together to build up the combinations - sure they would probably still lose this series but would be much better placed next year and the years after that (if they keep the same players together still that is).

That NSW team is ordinary. If I were to drop either half it would have been Wallace he is solid and not much more whereas Campese is raw he has tonnes of potential, once again NSW refuse to give halves a chance to gel before booting them and even funnier they put an old has been in the halves to create one of the least creative halves combo's Origin has seen in quite a while.

Sure, Hayne's a diver.

But so is Folau. Folau is either a diver or really, really soft.

As much as i think Bellamy is a whinger, I actually think he has a point here. Meninga voices his concerns to the ref, and the first kick that goes over the Folau, he hits the deck in what appears to be only minor contact with Hayne. It looked pretty suss to me. You've got to wonder though whether Bellamy is questioning this cause he instructed Folau to do the same thing at Melbourne.

I actually think Lockyer took a dive in Friday nights game too. There is one try where he gets beaten on the outside, and in running across to make a second attempt (which we was never going to make) he slightly runs in to a bulldogs defender, appears to take a step or two more, and then hits the deck when he realised he realises what has happened. I hope it was legit, as I would hate to think someone like Lockyer would take a dive and I'm glad it never went to the video ref.

So Emma, will you add Paul gallen to your list of players to Hate this Origin?

Crocker was hesitant to discuss the Gallen incident yesterday but confirmed it had occurred.

"I don't know about retribution, I haven't thought about it since it happened," Crocker said.

"But he did get me and I certainly wasn't happy about it at the time.

"But it happened on the field and I'm prepared to leave it there

"It's certainly not something I have been stewing over all summer - I'm not going out to seek revenge."

Asked did he respect Gallen, Crocker said: "I'd prefer not to speak about him at all."

It is not the first time Gallen has been accused of bag snatching. Titans utility Josh Graham infamously claimed Gallen had "grabbed my wheels (testicles) and gave them a bit of squeeze" in a game in March last year.

What a dog. I particularly like Crockers "i'd prefer not to speak about him at all". Nice. 8-)

He was always on the list mrslong, I just had a moment of delirium is all!

Such a tough guy, that Paul Gallen...

This was my point. And IMO I don't think Issy dives, but I do think he plays for penalties - there is a difference.

I agree and when he's playing for my team, I love it! When he's playing against my team - cannot stand the guy one iota! I'm the same with Gallen generally - but he is very rarely playing for my team.

.

I agree with the general idea of this argument. I THOUGHT the whole point of this "new" NSW side was to stick with everyone for the whole series. Even if it meant sacrificing a series loss. Of course, they would have loved to win game 1 but surely sacking Campese wasn't the right idea. Now they are saying the PRESENT matters not the future. I don't get it!

I think they should have stuck with Campese/Wallace for the whole series. Win lose or draw. That is just me.

The Campese dropping shows that it's obvious the NSW selectors obviously never had faith in their own selections. They had no idea what they were doing. If this isn't a sign that they should get new ones, I have no idea what is.

Couldn't agree more Alec, they have shown they can't even keep to the mantra that they said they would start fresh this year and give guys a go and ignore results. Campese has class written all over him and this will only dent his confidence.
