I am honestly not fussed about signing him for next year straight up - Sign him for 2015 as soon as possible and the rest will sort itself out.

If he has a clause, the NRL will let one of their brightest prospects move and play football, rather than rot in reserve grade because Canberra regret losing players

This. As I've said previously, I believe shortly after November 1 we'll anounce that we've signed him for 2015.

Possible scenario, the Raiders giving him an early release for the 2014 season. Or they may not depending on how stubborn they want to be.

He was at fullback, early on he looked really sharp when he had the ball out on the edges, he certainly isnt too confident of a goalkicker though. Vidot also got schooled out on the wing

If a full time fullback role is required at any club I'm sure Hoffman would put his hand up no matter what club it is. I would love to keep Hoffman and grab Milford at the same time no matter what it takes.

You obviously didn't read the part where he said it can be avoided and contracts registered prior to round 13 and the clause isn't in every contract. As I said managers don't include it and it can be gotten around.

It says the clause is automatically applied to any NRL contract, due to the contract having to abide by the NRL rules. I don't know how you're reading that wrong, or maybe you're just too proud.



This contract must be as good as done. Good signing, but still a kid who wants to move home, falling in Gee's lap.
