Whether we get Milford or not, it's still an exciting time as a Broncos supporter.
We've added some size up front which is what we were lacking.
We have a new strength and conditioning coach (we looked unfit last season).

We have some more depth in the backline.

Brian Edwards as a scout to try and keep the promising young talent in Brisbane.

And who knows, Maybe Strasser or Taylor could stand up and be the new DCE?

And we have a heap of cap space should a marquee player pop up for whatever reason.

It's great to see some really positive words for next season. I'm with you on all these fronts. Next season can't come soon enough.

I want Milford to sign as much as everyone. But it won't be him that makes or breaks our season.

He hasn't played much first grade in the halves for Canberra. Most of his brilliance has come from broken field or set plays at fullback.

We haven't seem him dominate or control a game of first grade in the halves yet.

Ayoub talked pretty tough at the start. Time to back it up.

If the raiders make him sit out the year it will be the dumbest act in a long line of dumb acts . Pay the guys wages for a year for nothing, or get a transfer, could be a 600k turnaround. Just wanted to get in first.

It would be an absolute disaster PR-wise if the Raiders made Milford sit out 2014, especially when you consider that Ricky Stuart left Parramatta two years early because of similar family issues to Milford.

Assuming the $1 Million a year reports are correct Ayoub stands to make a significantly healthier commission if Anthony stays at the raiders. Doesn't really surprise me that hes been somewhat quiet recently.
