Huh? Halfback skills? Why does that have any bearing on contract size.

Well I guess we know why the roosters could sign SBW and Jennings so easily, must be on 200k contracts... No halfback skills

Because we are buying him to play in the halves?

All this Ricky stuff is so going to be used in my massive Ricky Is A Fraud rant. When I get around to it.

The Broncos have not perpetuated the story

You are a delusional fool
Lol this post makes posting on the broncos forums all the worth it.

honestly, it amuses me that some people actually believe the broncos have not been involved in the cockle mammy stories being released.

On a slightly different topic, another bronco fan commented on watching the broncos on Friday night every night, and I let it slide as I foolishly believed someone would pick up on reason here re Milford.

but on the broncos fta topic.
There sucking on fta every Friday night contributed to rugby leagues brand being damaged.
also they are the late game in sydney so no I don't watch them. And I don't really care who gets that death slot it's probably the worst slot if you have foxtel.

anyway best of luck in 2014, fans obviously have nothing to do with the actions of clubs, and I like you hope we all get to enjoy our footy.

Maybe if your club wasn't the biggest bunch of shunts the NRL has ever seen.... you too would get some FTA time.

There is nothing wrong about adding comments and having an opinion but can you tone it down a bit please mate?. This is a Broncos forum so obviously the posts will be from a Broncos perspective or bias don't act surprised about it.

Kind regards

This is how Kent writes an article

My computer isn't showing the image and didn't before. What is the picture?

It is funny seeing all the Raiders fans on here.
And it's even funnier when they think offering Milford stupid money has any bearing on the Broncos whatsoever.

It's win, win for the Broncos and lose, lose for the Raiders.

1. He signs for Brisbane on a reasonable contract = Win for Brisbane.

2. He signs for the Raiders for $1M a season = another win for the Broncos because they've forced a rival club to pay massive overs for an untested player.

3. He signs for Brisbane on a reasonable contract = A lose for the Raiders.

4. He signs for the Raiders for $1M a season = another lose for the Raiders as they have just committed massive money to an unworthy player, which is sure to created jealousy and discontent amongst the playing group.

The only people who aren't scoffing at offering a 19 year old that kind of money are the Raiders.

Salford offered SBW $1M a season to play for them in the Super league before he signed with the Roosters at the start of the year.

And the NRL didn't have a problem registering SBW on a $500k contract.

The Broncos could easily sign Milford for $300-400k without any NRL 'investigation'.

The Roosters could pay anything for anybody without any kind of investigation though.

... this potboiler could run longer than the Mousetrap ... hope we hear something concrete and positive (from our perspective) before Xmas, c'mon Santa, check that list, no one's been naughty ...

I think we'll hear within a fortnight once Anthony is back from the RLWC, whenever that will be.

Whether we get Milford or not, it's still an exciting time as a Broncos supporter.
We've added some size up front which is what we were lacking.
We have a new strength and conditioning coach (we looked unfit last season).

We have some more depth in the backline.

JYY return?

The prospect of Ben Barba getting back to his best football.

Brian Edwards as a scout to try and keep the promising young talent in Brisbane.

And who knows, Maybe Strasser or Taylor could stand up and be the new DCE?

And we have a heap of cap space should a marquee player pop up for whatever reason.
