Anyone who doesn't like the Raiders fans, please add them to your ignore list. That way they don't distract you from posting on topic.

Only problem with that is that it makes the thread very disjointed and hard to follow.

Might be my only option though

We will know his intentions soon.

The Raiders fans seem to think this is all about money. But they are the ones offering the huge coin.

The Broncos will not, I repeat, will not break the bank to sign Anthony Milford.
He may have large amounts of potential but we will not fall into the Raiders trap of paying stupid amounts of money to players who haven't earned in yet.

Watch him sign for the Raiders for $1million a season, watch him realise a million dollars doesn't make him any closer to Brisbane or his family, watch his life spiral out of control, watch the Broncos sign him for $200k when the Raiders sack him for ill discipline mid next year.

I think that if he genuinely wants to come home to be closer with family (which I think he is) he will take a deal from about $200-$300k at the Broncos.

I was thinking about $300-350k. And I was even contemplating that figure as being a risk.
What does a 19 year old do with a million dollars a year? In Canberra?
Without turning to mass partying or gambling?

He already couldn't handle the pressure and was getting drunk the night before the Warriors game.

Which his parents were not happy about. I know for a fact, his family would rather he earned less money, and be in Brisbane where they can make sure he doesn't go off the rails.

I think what people need to remember is that this is a human being. Who obviously holds his family in high regard.

Yeah I agree, plus his childhood hero Darren Lockyer is the halves consultant next year and can make the Milford and Hunt combo into an amazing halves combination for years to come.

[RUMOUR] Anthony Milford to Broncos

I'd take a million a year to live in Canberra.

Would you still live in Somalia for a mil if you could get half a mil to live in bris with your fam.

Tim Gavel says there is more news on Milford, from another in the studio interview with Ricky Stuart. ABC Grandstand Canberra 11.05am.
