I am most upset about losing ferguson from a footballing perspective.

what upsets me is the dishonesty and garbage being played out in the media about how we are losing him.

I am glad there is a broncos fan out there who has finally picked up on his dad not being so sick to stay away from playing for samoa in the world cup.

The next question is which is a bigger opportunity / life decision.

Who is saying anything about permanetly living in canberra, just stay for the entirety of your contract, if you think you have a right to rescind use it. In fact why hasn't he rescinded his contract already? Explain that to me broncos fans if he can just walk out on the contract why hasn't he?

• Anthony requested to activate the release clause, which was put in there exactly for that purpose. Why did the Raiders put a clause into the contract that they were never intent on honoring?
• How did the Broncos learn of such clause, to be able to incentive Anthony to use it?

mmm the raiders do have a lot of issues. holding on to good players and keeping their egos from overcoming their ability to name a few.

It would be nice though, if broncos fans could be honest enough to admit the way the milford saga has carried on in particular the using of an illness, is poor. Even if it leads to great success, it was done very poorly.

Unfortunately it appears most on this site lack any sort of introspection with respect to their footy club.

Why would the raiders approach the broncos regarding a transfer fee, if milford has the right to **** can his contract for nothing? the club would open discussions just to get rejected.

If the broncos wanted milford and to go about it properly they should have approached the raiders with their offer instead of this homesickness concoction.

I dont care about the rule breaking as noted earlier, I care about the how.

If it is simple as a clause in anthonys favour that he can activate a get out whenever he likes, he could activate it and sign the broncs for 2014 no worries. But as everyone on here can see, he has not done that, presumably because he requires the raiders consent, which they have not given.

As for how the broncos learnt of such a clause, you tell me, I would assume that his manager told the same to the broncos? But right now who knows?

I hope you enjoyed your little cross examination, but to repeat it is not milford leaving, it is the cocklemammy story surrounding it perpetuated and encouraged by the broncos organisation.

I know his father is ill but whether he is worse is debatable, he could just be homesick, or we could be bending the Raiders over and shafting you but the fact of the matter is that nobody on here cares if you don't like our integrity in signing players.
Why don't you guys just take one of ours when you get the opportunity? If you are looking for a fullback apparently Hoffman wants out

If it were up to me, and milford was gone, I would take hoffman.

However, that doesn't mean the broncos didn't go about this in a dirty manner.
