[Official] - Milford signs with Broncos

According to an NRL liason, the clause does not need to be in the contract to be effective.

The contract can't be registered prior to Round 13 unless the incumbent club give written permission.

Something tells me that hasn't happened..

By the sounds of it, Milford can still back out.

Exactly, so why do we keep getting told that he can't back out. Although I notice that 1910 hasn't said that again since all this talk had come up

his manager has said it though. it may not be registered yet but maybe there is a clause in the contract that makes it legally binding the moment it was signed

You've gotta feel a LITTLE bit for the Raiders though, Dugan, Ferguson, Earl, Williams, Milford.. all in the space of 2 years, that's gotta hurt.

I wouldn't have Earl and Williams in that list mate:laugh:

but I would add Carney:motz:

Dugan, Fergo, Milf and Carney would've had premiership winning potential

Speak for yourself. I don't feel sorry for them. Of those 5 players, three of them have gone on very dubious circumstances. It is clear there is a culture problem at the club that is being accentuated by the fact they're based in Canberra.

Build an absolute shithole on the outskirts of Canberra and call it Kings Cross Valley, and have a couple of hairdressers businesses out there to populate it with slappers.

Rugby league player mecca.

If it's true that Raiders have offered him another deal, then it confirms that Milford can back out.

They wouldn't waste their time if Milford couldn't back out of his deal with the Broncos.

Nervous times ahead. It's going to be a tense 12 weeks...

I've heard the Papalii family are pulling out all of the stops to make his family feel extremely comfortable in Canberra. Comfortable enough for them to move there indefinitely.

Just sign Papalii too. Problem solved :-)

Or the fact the same Furner family has controlled the club for decades.

You think we've got management issues.
