It honestly isn't a huge deal which of them plays Five-Eighth and which of them plays Fullback, they're going to be playing similar roles anyway, I just can't wait to see the magic they can do working together.

The ONLY reason I would have Barba slightly favored for Five-Eighth at the moment is he's shown more of a kicking game in the last 12 months than Milford has, and he's also shown he's a very smart player and knows when to run it, or kick it (See: Friday night, Copley try)

So, Paul Kent said tonight on NRL 360 that the Raiders are confident of getting Milford to break his contract with us before Round 13, supposedly offering him over $900k a year on a multi-year deal.

Well we keep getting told it has been taken out but by the rules of the nrl it apparently can't be, so I don't get it.

Also, if he apparently can't back out why are the raiders throwing money at him still.

According to an NRL liason, the clause does not need to be in the contract to be effective.

The contract can't be registered prior to Round 13 unless the incumbent club give written permission.

Something tells me that hasn't happened..
