Ricky Stuart shits me - on top of the normal reasons - because I am sure he'd playing Milford at fullback because he knows we want him in the halves. They have a proven fullback in Robinson, and have chosen to gone with a more experienced yet out of position NRL player in the halves instead of Cornish. So by their own strategy Milford should be their choice in the halves. Ricky Stuart just doesn't want to develop him there to spite us. He is a sad, bitter little man.

That doesn't matter largely. If he has a blinder at Fullback this year, I can see him being our number one with Barba in the 6 and Hoffman either on the wing or gone entirely.

Milford won their player of the year award from fullback, its not really a stretch to think thats where he was always going to start round 1 from. Wighton has been talked up as being tried in the halves for a while, it was no different to when teams have thrown Inglis, Lyon, Hayne etc into the position.

Really? is it really that crazy? Stuart has shown time and time again that he is a small, petty man. It makes absolutely no sense for milford to be playing fullback for the raiders when they have plenty of options for the position, yet seemingly moving a centre (albeit a talented one) into the halves.

It would be interesting to see if we gave up on the hoffman halves experiment and moved barba to 6 claiming that we would rather barba spend the year adjusting to five eight as milford will play fullback when he arrives how quick milford is moved into the halves in canberra

While Robinson is a nice fallback to have I understand he has issues with his positioning in defense and he's nowhere near the same caliber as Milford in attack, anyway I think another year at Fullback will do Milford a world of good in preparation for when he's our 6 or 7 next year.

I think after watching Wighton he may be their best option at 5/8 as well

Wighton is awesome, but I still think he's more of a centre than a half atm. Milford is still the best option at fullback for them though (because I still think his running game suits the open space and less defenders a lot more).
