sorry but we need to bring the dislike button back for that statement. Hunts playmaking skills seemed to involve only 1 move. when he played in the halves at NRL level he was ordinary (and that is being generous). and with this long out of the game, i hope we don't go near him as a half (or full back either for that matter, given we now have Barba and Milford for 2015) ... especially given what his price tag will be.

To be fair to the Khunt, I wonder how much of our opinions of him in the halves have to do with Locky always overshadowing him in every facet and our desire to see Locky out there playing in his position that he owns.

We have no idea how much he would cost, but either way the guys a magnet for sponsorship so cap wise it wouldn't be that big of a deal. The guy can play just about anywhere and it's the leadership that he would bring that would be worth it

We probably won't have to pay as much as people think to bring him back. We'll never be able to match the offer Suns will put forward. It will come down to whether he really does want a return in the NRL. I doubt it would be any more than what we would throw at Smith or DCE.

He hasn't played Rugby League at this level for a long time, but he is the ultimate professional. It won't take him long to find his feet. When has he not put the effort in?

Lyon is the best centre in the game bar none. Pity he is almost past it.

As for KHunt, he's a very fine FB and nothing else. Don't know why his name is being mentioned here, and especially in the Milford thread.

As for Milford, he's one of the 2 answers to our prayers in the halves. I just hope Ben Hunt comes good this year.

yeah I don't think Harmichael was an elite creator before the line with his passing ect .. he was a strong runner of the ball and could link in nicely to put the finishing pass on that delicious backline sweep the broncos USED TO possess under Wayne Bennett ... which is why I think forking out a tonne of money to drag him back from AFL as the 'great white hope' at #6 would be a mistake.

Did anyone watch the full raiders game v cowboys? Milford looks like he's carrying some weight . Looked a little disinterested. I didn't see the whole match admittedly . Anyone?

I watched about 3/4. Apparently he had some nice touches early but he was quiet from what I saw. Kick chase from the Cows didn't give him many options though.

Would just put it down to an off night. Hope he picks up his game though, as I settled on him over Hayne for Supercoach.

His foot work was awesome. He set the raiders first try up. It was all him.
