I remember reading somewhere that the Broncos request playing the Storm backing up after either a test or origin. It's happened too often in the last 10 years for it to be a coincidence.

this has been a brilliant draw for the broncos .. dodging a double date with the likes of Manly, the Roosters and Souths ... broncos sides of yesterfar - real bronco sides would've torn it up this season with such a favourable schedule.

I notice the Titans seem to catch the Storm sans their 'big 3' quite regularly in recent seasons too.
 
This Broncos of yesteryear would have been a fair point if we were a perfect side but they weren't. If we're playing that 'this is what a tough draw would be' game then you better be sure that we didn't have to play Sydney & Melbourne back to back. Not that many predicted Sydney would be a Top 3 side.

And no, I don't think we're the only side being hard done by when it comes to scheduling but hey we have as much reason to complain as Bellamy did.

Wallace and Prince are "sort of getting used to each other now", sort of....after an off season and 16 rounds. Also Wallace apparently likes to take control.... I've probably seen Wallace take control of a game once or twice since his been with the Broncos. Sometimes i wish i had bigger eyes, for the amount of rolling needed, my eyes just don't cut it.
 
Hey guys. Thought it was time I brought this thread back to see what we all think after the cowboys game on Friday night.

I've done the ladder predictor again and it doesnt look good. With my predictions even if we won every game for the rest of the season we will finish up on 30 points with the Dogs and Sharks. Both of these teams have been racking up big scores which is really helping their F/A. If this trend continues we will be ninth on 30 points equal with the sharks and dogs on comptition points but miles behind in F/A. Our lack of ability to put big scores on against the weaker teams will come back to bite us hard IMO.

IMO if we lose one more game its season over. Our F/A is terrible and even if we win all the remaining games we still have to rely on results going in out favour. I dont know where this we can affoard to lose one more game stuff comes from.

This is just a prediction of course but with the current form of teams this is what my ladder looks like now.

1. Roosters (44)
2. Souths (44)
3. Sea Eagles (35)
4. Raiders (32)
5. Warriors (32)
6. Storm (31)
7. Bulldogs (30)
8. Sharks (30)
9. Broncos (30)

most years 28 points is the cut off for the 8
 
We're pretty much relying on Bulldogs and Sharks to lose one or two, and for us to keep winning. :-(
 
Raiders have a very tough run home, playing Storm, Roosters, Dogs, Manly, Warriors in NZ and Sharks home. Sharks away at NZ, Dragons (traditionally tough), home to Chooks and Knights and Canberra away.
Panthers and Tits also have tough games ahead against top 8 teams, which will help our cause...

Compared to them, we have a relatively easy ride into the finals. The decisive games for use will be Knights away and home games. If we can win both and manage to put a score onto the dragqueens and Parra at home to boost the F/A, we could end well into the top 8.

Not bad Donald, you've got 4 right so far but a 6 game winning streak is a bit too optimistic if you ask me.

We haven't beaten a top 8 team bar the Titans at the time who were without Sezer in Rd 5 and went completely off the boil in Rd 10.

Oh yeah the wooden spooners beat us already this year as well :closedeyes:
