lol, another newcomer fooled by the great Danny O'fuddles aka Mr. Scoop. In the couple years that I have been aware of him, he has never got one prediction correct. Not even one!!! I actually feel a bit sorry for him as he is unwell.

the dragons probably get the best out of the deal if it happens (it won't), seeing as how Dugan and Bird will both miss rounds through origin. I'd love Bird on our books this year though.

Unless Dugan wants to become a full time centre. It is his best bet of continual rep jerseys and it would most likely prolong his career.

Val just signed a 2 yr extension this year and reports suggested that he signed because he was getting first crack at fullback.
Putting my danny o cap on here, but surely val will be upset. They signed him under the assurance that he's getting first crack at fullback only for them to now go out and buy a fullback on probably more money
Unless the duges is coming to play center, but why offer so much money for a center.
FWIW I think dugan is a garbage fullback. His defence, positioning and kick returns are fine, but fullbacks nowadays need much more. He absolutely murders every back line move and has no passing game or vision.
Not to mention his constant injuries the guy has zero durability and is always on the ground.

The word is that Dugan has said he is happy to play centre but he still wants Fullback money...which I assume is 700-750 plus.

Center money is 700k which is what drags were offering. Sharks have come in higher than that, which seems way too high to pay for a center
