paix, boyd and subloo are all the same age and play in the halves. we have them all and will just revert to the funnel effect and hope for the best rather than developing properly like the storm are doing croft.

he wont be going anywhere for a long time. he is seen as a future captain of the storm.
amazing thing talent scouting and proper development.

While the Storm do a great job, there was an element of luck with Croft too. Went to Churchie right in Easts' backyard that 2014 Firsts team has produced Croft, Su'A and Ponga. He went to Easts to play MM and Storm went hello.

I know him walking in is only the start but gee it helps.

If we want someone who touches the ball a handful of times in a half, walks and stands directly behind the ruck so he doesn't get passed the ball, and has countless 5 tackle sets with out touching the ball at all. Then we should sign Sandow. I don't watch much ISC but how is he getting away with it.

Good years :p what we could do with Langer and Walters as our halves, maybe let Roberts go for renouf, definitely go with johns over moga and let sailor and Oates play the wings whilst Boyd feeds them passes. Can't have a former Broncos fantasy without Locky regardless of the era... Put him in at fullback. Why can't keep Renouf and Roberts? What would Thaiday say about that much speed?

Controversial given Boyd has been so good (without being in the true superstar class - not a slight on him very few can be a superstar). As has Macca this year if he speeds up his service a little more, kicks a bit more and keeps up this form deserves to replace Cam Smith. Imagine if we didn't sign Griffin and thus likely Bennett again and had a more attacking coach. No Bennett = no Boyd. Would we be looking at 9. Granville 7. Taylor 6.Hunt (was great pre grand final loss yips and is a natural five eight more than organising halfback might have thrived without that prolonged pressure), 1. Milford. 14. KNik/Purcell? Would we be in a better position both now and next five years?
