Thing is wouldn't blow up the salary cap. Players take unders to be at Broncos and get more third party anyway. Taylor wouldn't have been expensive on a few year deal before this year, already paying for MILF, Hunt would have taken less then Boyd if was really chasing a premiership (he has taken unders before for the Broncs or maybe just Griffin but then we fired his hero and he realised how this is only best hope to cash out) and don't see how Granville is much dearer than McCullough.

But if no salary cap, add Boyd to wing to partner Oates. Also offer a million Ponga when you move Milf to five eight in his mid to late 20s. Even Newcastle players don't want to play for Newcastle.

With the Big 3 sharing in a fairytale Origin win last night, the Storm have quietly gone about locking up their future spine, with the Baby Big 3 – Jahrome Hughes, Brodie Croft and Brandon Smith – reportedly agreeing to terms on long-term extensions.
According to 7Sport, the three young stars have pledged their futures to the Storm “until next decade“, with the report indicating that an announcement is coming “in the very near future”.
The youngsters have filled in capably when called upon this year, with all three playing in Round 16, when the Baby Storm took the Roosters to golden point.
Hughes has played 4 first grade matches for the Storm, Cowboys and Titans.
Croft has played 4 first grade matches for the Storm.
Smith has played 3 first grade games for the Storm.
