Our new halfback should be

You might have missed someone. I'll put it to the crowd. Anyone think of someone Sproj has missed? Yes, you there with the bouncy hair...

Nope didn't forget him, it was my list, I'm not wanting Johnson. Costs too much for providing too little.

Johnson has either declined or isn't motivated anymore. You hardly see him take on the line like he used to, now its just, run flatly across and give a one handed layoff to someone standing flatfooted, or, kick to the corner.

Maybe he could come out of his funk somewhere else, but you'd want to see evidence of it first before plunking 1mill down for him.

Probably because he himself has pretty much publicly admitted that he won't win a premiership with the Warriors. He's already been paid quite handsomely for a while now, and his value certainly won't be going backwards in our current climate. What motivation does he have? To be professional and put in your best every week? As have been said by many people who know better than me, the Warriors simply aren't run with that kind of mindset.

He needs a fresh start and I think even he knows it. He doesn't need to chase the money any more, he'll get that regardless. I can't see a club better suited to getting him to the next level than us.

Johnson has never been the same since that really bad ankle injury to be honest, he's shown the occasional flash of brilliance, but he's never quite re-captured that unstoppable running game he had prior.

how about we just snap up Foran from under the noses of the Knights as well. :p
After the court thingo with wife, one of the conditions is he has to live in Sydney or something

If he had to live in Sydney then he wouldn't be playing for the Warriors.

Besides courts can't dictate where someone lives and works. (With the exception of parole conditions).

His kids are in Sydney, so he is more likely to go there, doesn't mean we shouldn't throw out hat in to the ring for his services ... worst case scenario we force another team to up their offer to him.

I don't think WB would be happy with a player admitting he's not interested in giving 100% because he doesn't think his team can win a premiership. It wouldn't really buy into the team ethos thing he's all about.

I can't remember it accurately but it is something along the lines
There was something on NRL360 on it

yeah, i heard the same thing - though I thought it was just a case of having a kid in sydney therefore better for him to be there.

JTJ has a kid in sydney doesn't he?

It was regarding the conditions of a new custody arrangement. Probably needs to have his permanent residence in Sydney???

Definitely a player that needs a sea change. He's god over there and knows it. He could be an all time great, but he won't get it staying at the Warriors......with the coaches they sign anyway.

You know what?

I'm starting to warm to the idea of Johnson coming to the Broncos.

We will likely still get the moments of brilliance followed by moments of him being nowhere to be seen, but for the video side of things, he will be a joy to have at the club.
