Watching JNik yesterday, he doesn't seem to have a very good ball playing game at all. Even Kodi looks better.

Kodi didn't stunt his development by heading to the Rorters though

It'd be good to get him back if only to be an example to our younger guys that the money isn't everything early in your career.

He was highly rated by the broncos iirc and his career has stagnated whereas Kodi stayed and is now an NZ representative.

He would have stagnated here too. He wouldn't force out milford or hunt or his brother. He would be playing intrust cup just like he is now. He needs a club to develop at and then get a shot at nrl in the near future. .no way that's broncos. You can't stock pile talent. .the cap doesn't let it and we're not in the market for an unproven 20 year old. There's a place for him n in nrl but not here.

1 - It's a stretch to call Milf a Bronco junior

2 - Bird wasn't a Sharks junior

3 - You can't use a negative to prove a positive. I didn't say it was OK to blow up at all. I only reacted to people calling a player that we didn't develop, and signed from another club, "ours".

Milf plays for us now, and we love him, and we want him to stay

But it's entirely hypocritical to sign a bloke from another club, and then become indignant when another club tries to sign him from us, calling him "our" player

And I really think anyone genuinely engaging with what I wrote knows this and is only arguing for the fun of it

Maybe, but by the time we get him back on the right track, we could have already bought a half more suited to partnering Milf, as I don't think JNik would be any better then Kodi next year.

My bet is on Kodi Nikorima playing in the halves next year and rightly so. If we do not win it this year next year will be ours. Just watch Kodi flourish beside Anthony. They can win a premiership for us next year no doubt about it. With two great centres and two great wingers we will be hard to beat. Not to mention our depth which is the best it has ever been.

NRL: Three clubs chasing Warriors rookie Ata Hingano


Melbourne Storm, the North Queensland Cowboys and the Brisbane Broncos are all interested in luring Hingano across the Tasman.

The 20-year-old is desperate to stay in Auckland but is prepared to move to Australia if he can find a better first grade opportunity.

"If I can I'd love to stay in Auckland," said Hingano. "My life is settled here but if it means moving to get that opportunity to play consistent first grade elsewhere, I'd likely look to move."

Hingano's manager Peter Brown is due to meet with the Warriors today to discuss what role they see him having beyond this season.

Melbourne have been interested in Hingano for several months but find themselves in a similar position to the Warriors, as they consider whether to go for youth or experience in finding a replacement for departing halfback Cooper Cronk.

The Storm also have Junior Kangaroos captain Brodie Croft on their books while another promising playmaker Ryley Jacks is currently off-contract.

"Melbourne and North Queensland have enquired about him and I've had a discussion with the Broncos as well," said Hingano's manager Peter Brown.
