I'd be very very surprised if TPJ rang Politis to give him shit. It doesn't ring true. My guess is backroom figure suggested to TPJ that Politis was looking around for someone for '22, possibly earlier. Pretty sure TPJ can see the dollar signs brightly illuminated around Fifita and wants a piece of the pie. Truthfully I don't blame anyone for selling their services for the absolute most available. I don't believe loyalty should be a consideration. I've seen workmates retire with 40+ years service and their names forgotten in a week. That said, if you sign an agreement made in good faith you should be honourable and fulfill your responsibility to the best of your ability.

I don't mind either, providing they do it when there off contract. He is contracted until 2022 and should honour that deal instead of looking to bail when things get tough. He has a problem with that then deal with it. I for one am not filthy with David Fifita because he is doing exactly that. Yes, he is leaving, but he's not pulling this crap of looking to depart before his contract has expired.

It’s funny, but sometimes these things can actually end up working against you. Gareth Widdop forced a release from the Dragons to go back to English Super league and now there are reports he has reached out to the Dragons and want's back in. He's denied it, but where there is smoke there is fire. Tevita Pangai should keep that in mind that sometimes the grass is not necessarily greener on the other side.

Yep, each passing week is just lumping more misery and damage on this club. Board moved past incompetence weeks ago, this is starting to enter malicious compliance/wilful destruction territory now. Seibold's career should have been on a knife edge from last season, 58-0 - how piss poor for a coach to have a team that poorly prepared for finals footy.

The only thing that he had in his favour was a disrupted pre-season. He's had that now and the team is substantially worse than the team that ran out last year. Board should have put an end to this fiasco after the roosters loss, let alone the wests game. How dreadful do the players have to perform before someone puts an end to this shit show.

He's never been as consistent as he has the last couple of weeks. Rings alarm bells that he's trying to win over new suitors.

100% he was 50/50 last contract, was linked to Raiders and Newcastle at the time.

Mercenary, he doesn't really have any reason to stay either.

I dont know how we are expected to beleive he called Mr paper bag just to give him shit for selling his shares. TPJ's IQ track record suggests he thinks we are stupid enough to believe it too, and its a dumb excuse. Politis would have leaked it to fuel the fire and help their cause.

This could be the neutron that breaks the atom at HQ though. Its pretty bad if things like this are happening. Its got to be the final nail for White and Seibs.

I always read on here that we have too many superstars (lmao really?) and we need to replace them with good, honest toilers. Looks like the club is trying to achieve that (at least in a roundabout way).

So yeah can’t wait to see how good we are without Fifita and TPJ!

Nothing will ever be enough for these guys. If Seibs hasn't been sacked for everything that has already happened why would this change anything?
