Good win by the young fulla. Have to say Sydney's win overshadowed it for me. What an absolutely ridiculous athlete she is. Hope she has a crack at the drugged up 400m flat record.

USA are on a 59 game winning streak in Olympic Games. They haven’t lost a game since the semi final in ‘92 when the unified team beat them. They have also never lost to Australia that wasn’t a warm up game.

It’s going to take a miracle for the Opals to win this one.

I thought with the fact that we have more and more NBA and WNBA players playing for us that we would be further along than what we are. At least enough for us to nab a gold every now and then.

It probably doesn’t help that we have the likes of Simmons and Irving flat out refusing to play for us.
