What's the excuse today?
He will say because the fans booed him. He is too stupid to remember the contract dispute happened before the booing.
What's the excuse today?
The Mental Health card is the ace up his sleeve…
Probably the fallback position if he doesn’t get his release soon…
Gould also hasn't said a word about it on his twitter accountConspicuously absent from discussion on 100% footy, only the biggest story in the game atm. Very odd.
Not sure what others think...but i think the longer it goes on the more likely Haas is to re-sign.
Not sure if I want him to, but thats the vibe Im getting...its just the vibe.
Listening to those in the media who would be privvy to the inside info like Lockyer saying the boos will stop, or Freddy saying he wasnt concerned about the distraction for origin camp...just makes it sound like he's not going anywhere.
Just my gut thought that management tried to make a splash, realised they ballsed it up, but Payne wants to stay. Hopefully the manager has his tail between his legs speaking to Ikin and DD, before some sort of announcement will be made trying to downplay it all and that he will at least see out his contract.

Where does this absolute myth come from that the Roosters are stacked with stars? It's out of date bullshit.
QLD Origin team: 4 Broncos, 1 Rooster
NSW Origin team: 2 Broncos, 3 Roosters (and 1 is a reserve)
So that's 6 Broncos in Origin, 4 Roosters.
Even Penrith only has 6 players in Origin. All for NSW.
Which is an interesting situation. Fifita has been a disaster for the Titans, I’m not sure if anyone else would make that mistake again unless they are truly desperate aka Bulldogs and after SBW, would they really be behind this to another club?
Bulldogs shouldn’t even be on Haas radar if he wants to walk into a ‘successful’ club.
Nothing special compared to your average Broncos squad over the last twenty years. Random sample: look at this bunch of underachievers from 2019. Staggs, Fifita, TPJ and Flegler on the bench being the nobodies. I think every player on this team played Origin/International.1. Teddy (NSW)
2. Tupou (NSW)
3. Momo
4. Manu (Kiwi)
5. Suaali (extended NSW squad)
6. Walker (emerging Qld origin squad)
7. Keary (NSW)
8. JWH (Kiwi)
9. Bsmith - next year (Kiwi)
10. Collins (Qld)
11. Tupouniua (nothing yet but played for Tonga in 2019)
12. Crichton (NSW)
13. Victor (got off suspension because Freddy was going to pick him)
7 have played or are still playing state of origin or internationals (will be 8 next year with Bsmith), 3 are all but guaranteed (Walker, Suaali and Victor). Victor would've already played had it not been for suspensions and injuries.
