If we've learned anything over the past 2 weeks, it's that we don't really need Payne Haas as much as we probably thought we did.

We've been murdered in the middle lately, Carrigan is a bigger loss.

I thought the same but I wonder if haas is smart enough to defend in the back row. He probably is. NAS is a special talent, got all the skills along with the size.

Haas doesn't run over people or run into any holes whatsoever. He lumbers up slowly and carries a few people an extra 3 metres. There is no intensity or explosiveness from him, which is why he can do what he does for 65 minutes. He has never shown otherwise and having him play second row would be terrible. He'd also get run around because he plants his feet in defense.

@ Huge was pushing that barrow last season . Next game he got one on one with an outside back and he got beaten badly .

Teams are fcking up by not running steppers at NAS . Ezra got past him one time then didn`t get to do it again , which baffled and frustrated me . It seemed pretty obvious a front rower on the edge needs to be challenged laterally and acceleration wise .

We had no possession to be able to go at NAS... so he had free reign to do as he pleased on that edge and barely make a tackle

Uiatu ‘Joan’ Taufua, 46, pleaded guilty to assault occasioning bodily harm and common assault in Southport Magistrates Court on Thursday. The mother of nine punched one security guard in the face and spat on another guard’s cheek during an incident at The Star Casino on the Gold Coast in May this year, the court was told. Magistrate Ron Kilner sentenced Taufua to nine months imprisonment, with a parole release date of October 1 2022.​
