Soward won a comp with hornby at halfback, not dissimilar player to wal, could be a good fit but Soward doesn't handle pressure or criticism well and is going to need to be cuddled. Could go either way.

To be honest I think the Panthers would have been better off keeping Walsh but shhhhh don't anyone tell them.

I hope this news is now the impetus for Wallace to drop off the bench. 2 games left, season over, there is no reason to keep on playing Wal. Granville needs to come into the side now if Hook is serious about coaching for the future.

As much as Wallace has sucked this season you can never doubt his heart to play for his team and he was great for us in 2009. He was the right option to partner Lockyer, but unfortunately couldn't kick on to be the dominant half we needed after Lockyer's retirement. He won a few games for us when he was playing well and I will always have a soft spot for him. But it is time for both player and club to move in a different direction.
