Like it or lump it Hook will always carry a bench utility. TBH I'd far prefer Baptise for several reasons. I could see him creating a bit of a niche for himself. With limited minutes he has the ability to be a nice little impact player with and without the ball. He is also a far, far better defender.

If we are serious about Hunt as a halves option he needs to play in the halves! Neither Ben Hunt nor our footy team are going to gain anything with him pinch hitting at hooker. I'm almost resigned to the fact Ben Hunt is more than likely not good enough to be a starting Half or Hooker. My opinion is that if he is going to succeed it will be as a 'triangle', - great for squad depth and some bench cover. No complaints here if he proves me wrong though.

Wallace was fantastic last year, we do not have an in-house replacement for him.

I think Baptise offers really good value off the bench and would like to see him on the bench. Hunt can stay in reserves for all I care. I think Norman has shown far more potential and with a few weeks in a row in the 6 jersey, he could really start to shine.

It's not so much I don't rate Hunt either I just think if we're serious about him being a future half he needs to spend more time playing there. So a stint in the Q Cup could be really good for him.

Anyways Gagai is eyeing off the 6 jersey. He has more talent than any of them. Plus he can dunk it.
Karmichael Smelly Khunt couldn't even dunk it.
Hook put a media ban on him during this offseason so he can knuckle down.

Played all his juniors as a five eighth.
He was still too skinny last year. He has been eating like a fat bitch and hitting the gym.

He really wants to play 1 or 6. And won't be playing 1 while his cuz is there.
If you ever watch him play he's a ball player with a running game. He just has to bide his time or head home and play for NQ

I think we need a few injuries for him to get a chance. Dale Copley seems to be ahead of him in the pecking order. I think Gagai can turn into a real talent if given the chance.

Copley is just average, nothing special what so ever. I'll happily have humble pie if he turns out be a star though.
Gagai on the other hands has the talent to become something special, that's not to say he deserves a spot in the team because he doesn't but if he gets a spot and plays well he could hang onto it for a long time.

I think it's a race thing. Same reason Ben Hunt is underrated compared to Norman.
