Well if we have an estimated 500k or so(Inglis' cash) then we have NOTHING to lose buy buying some players on one year contracts but if it's nuffies who are just gonna stand in the way of better players then it's not worth it. Brad Morrin shouldn't get past reserve grade and neither should frank...

What buying these players may do for us is push other players to lift their game or risk their spot in the team, so that may be good for us.

You have Copley on the list of retained in the NYC ... IMO, if he isn't playing first grade this season (an i think he should get first crack ta the left center position) then i would like to see him in the QLD cup.

When the list was made (pretty sure it was mine originally, somebody just added where the juniors were coming from) I basically included all those who are eligible. I get the feeling Copley and Gagai will play a lot of first grade/Queensland Cup.

Yeah I think I got it from leagueunlimited or rleague forums can't remember now, definitely not my work just saw it and thought it might of been of interest to others and as Big Pete suggests really just cause a player like Norman is eligible doesn't necessarily mean he will be played there, personally I would rather see reserve grade brought back and give your depth and out of form players as well as your up and comers to continue to play at a competitive level that wouldn't leave such a gap for the stepup IMO especially for the under 20's who would benefit playing against players who have regular experience of first grade as well as the youngsters on a more regular basis.
