Big Pete might be the best one to answer this - am I right in thinking that the Broncos have realized that the best place for our fringe players to be is the QCup and not the Toyota Cup? I think Whitchurch, Maranta and Frei are all still eligible for Toyota Cup yet they are playing QCup each week - which is a good thing I reckon.

I think it should be mandatory for players to spend a year at least in the QCup to develop their skills against older players. Too much emphasis is put on bringing in younger players all the time, good teams have balance and the Broncos already have an average age of 23 and just don't feel they have the mental toughness that comes with experience. That having been said I do think we are light out wide and lack a quality finisher.

Bennett is struggling to even get 50% out of his current troops. So many people have gone backwards at the knights this year its amazing.
