Beale annoys me more and more every game lately, had an outburst after he gave the Cowboys the game where I absolutely gave it to him for wrecking last year. I know it was an accident but he's my scapegoat. Hate to say but my confidence in him on the wing is almost as low as it was with Winterstein.
I wonder if Copley will still be next in the pecking order ahaead of Gagai??

I don't think Copely is much of a winger anyway, ok as a center though. besides Gagai is 18th man for the trip to perth, could be a message to Beale to lift his game

Lui was set to be 18th man again but he's got to be in North Queensland by Saturday in order to back up for Norths.

Gagai on the other hand has until Sunday to be in Redcliffe.

Could be a smokescreen but I'm willing to give Griffin the BotD.

Someone posted elsewhere they heard a rumour Gillett might be leaving next year. I hope it's just that - a stupid rumour. He should be signed for as long as possible. I rate his game as effective as any player going around, including Inglis, and he's getting better.

He has another year on his contract, i doubt he's going anywhere

Really, really hope not rna.

He's a great talent and I agree that he's still got a fair amount of improvement in him. The way he's playing at the moment, you can sort of sense that he believes he's worthy of a starting spot. Unfortunately at Brisbane, he's basically fifth in the pecking order when it comes to backrowers. Could be better opportunities elsewhere. I could picture him fitting in at the Cowboys.

edit: well if he's got another year on his contract, he'll thankfully be here a little longer haha
