they mentioned beale to dragons on the footy show just now. i hadnt heard it before but funny the other day was havin a bit of banter with a mate who's a dragons fan and told him he'd have beale in the red v next year.

It is a good point you make TBH, I'd be happy for the club to release him now.

Disappointing, but I think we all knew it was going to happen.

I'd be happy for Gagai to take Beale's place on the wing for the rest of the season. Beale just doesn't look comfortable out there, and if he's not going to be here next season...

If we were going to lose a player then unfortunately Beale was probably the one to lose. There are always new wingers around and I am sure we will have a decent backup for Hoffman next season.

I would hope we don't release him immediately. He's the type of player who could probably make a difference to the Dragons and see them finish above us this season if we let him go now.

Understandable that Beale is leaving - Hoffman has got the number 1 sewn up and Gerard has looked vulnerable on the wing. The club's clearly focusing on Gagai now.
