McGuire, McCullough and Yow Yeh.

With Sims, Tronc and Setu still off contract.

Setu is not resigning, he is doing his Mormon duties.

Yes, now that Winterstein is leaving, it's imperative that we sign up Yow Yeh.

I heard he was staying, though.

Pretty confident we'll sign all 3 youngsters.

Already this year Ben Te’o, Josh Hoffman, Andrew McCullough, Jharal Yow Yeh, Mitchell Dodds, Ben Hunt, Josh McGuire, Denan Kemp and Dane Gagai have been locked in to new deals.

We have several other very promising youngsters that I'd like to see secure, like Baptiste, T. Sims, Copley, Clayton and the U20's captain (drawing a blank  ).
But we're definitely heading in the right direction, and with the salary cap concessions, we could make sure that Locky, Thaiday and Hodgo get the $300k reserved for marquee/long service players, freeing some extra cash to go after a replacement for Izzy. (wish these concessions had come earlier, we might have had a chance to keep him)

That is a real shame, he's turned a corner and become a real bookend for us, I'm not surprised that we lost last weekend without him - i also hate the idea that he could be playing for the roosters, quality player

there is a lot to like about the youngsters we have coming through and the fact that the club has decided to spend the available funds locking these guys up. I still hope we lock Tronc up for the next couple of years, i don't think it is much of a surprise (at least to me) that our form turn around, especially defensively, has come with him joining the club.

I'm not sure we even need to sign a replacement for Izzy. we have players with loads at the potential at the club already, (i.e Glenn, Gillett, Copely and Beale). I think any of those guys could be an ideal partner for Hodges in the centers next season.

add to all that the fact that we have Hannant re-joining the club next year along with our talented youngsters gaining more first grade experience and i believe that we could be a real force next year icon_thumbs_u

We are the BRONCOS!!! When aren't we a force!!!!

What does everybody think of a Yow Yeh and Gagai combo on the wings next year? Gagai can also do the kicking duties!

Honestly, i think Kemp and Yow Yeh should and will get first shot, with Beale, Gagai and Copley as the backups

I don't know who Gagai is or how good he "may be" but I would rather Kemp.

Gagai is the u20's fullback ATM. i think he is a good prospect, especially since moving to the back from the wing. IIRC, he is related to Sammy Thaiday (i remember reading about it, when we signed him). before Gagai signed with us he had offers from the Reds (union) as well as the Cowgirls

Gagai is Josh Hoffman's cousin.

Great to hear np. Surprised Norman's name wasn't in the list, could've sworn we had secured him as well.

Also heard Tariq and Korbin Sims are looking to stay with the Broncos with or without Ashton.

If you don't know who he is, or how good he may be, how can you prefer Kemp over him?? That makes no sense.

Saw Gagai play in the u20s against Penrith last week and, deadset, on every kick return he beat at least two defenders each time.

He's got a fantastic running style, was just shaking tacklers off, similar to Hodges.
