I think you missed your point!!, How can you prefer Kemp when you have never even seen how Gagai is???

Exactly Beads, I didn't miss your point at all spwn. I just don't know how you can have a preference for 1 thing (regardless of what that is - footballers, choice of beer, favourite sexual position!) when you don't know what the other thing is.

WHY ARE YOU YELLING FOR!!!!

I said pretty much first time that I don't take reserve grade form seriously, I've seen too many reserve grade superstars talked up as the next big thing to turn out to be nobodies 1-2 years later. Even if I had seen every single game of him and he impressed by beyond belief I would still rather Kemp go first because he is a PROVEN first grader at NRL level. Gagai will get his chances at first grade and that is when he can be judged fairly with Kemp, playing against the big boys and along side much better players. Kemp has been there and done that, he was a freak in 2008 and proved to everyone just how good he could be. I've seen Kemp at first grade, Gagai hasn't played first grade yet, Kemp has proven he's an awesome player and a real game breaker, Gagai is just a kid with potential which may or may not be fulfilled.

There was a few people on here bagging Hoffman earlier this year saying he was crap in reserve grade, well he has shown just how good he is in first grade and visa versa.

To clarify Emma, in short I don't need to know the other thing when I believe it can't be compared.
To me it's like saying a prototype with huge potential is better than a Mercedes, a proven car. That's sort of my point, until that prototype is on the road (by road I mean NRL) then it can't be the better one. Once it's on the road it can prove itself to be the better car and build its reputation.

Kemp deserves first shot, anyway that's the last say I'll have on that, this isn't a Kemp V Gagai topic.

For the record, Kemp is not PROVEN, he has had 1 good season and yet to back it up. I have faith he will but that doesnt change the fact he is at this point in time a 1 season wonder.

Mmmmm, it's a tough one.
He was awesome, went to warriors to a game play which didn't suit him came back, then in the first game back had a good game but since then has had a horrid run with injuries and other wingers ahead of him.

IMO if he gets a few weeks under his belt his confidence will rise and he can be as good as well know he can be again.

I have faith in the Kempstar icon_smile

Got to agree, he might of had a great 2008, but he was hopeless at the Warriors, and has shown nothing this year to prove otherwise. Fine since coming back his had his fair share of injuries, but those first couple of games were average at best, don't talk up his try against the Cowboys, any winger (if they had speed) couldv'e pinned their ears back and ran for their lives and scored it any day of the week, there was no skill.

Also from what i've seen of Gagai he is a gun in Toyota Cup, and has potential, hopefully he won't be a dud in the NRL. Give him time in the Qcup next year and he will develop.

And i have faith in Gagai/Copely

Anyway this has gone onto a new topic, time to settle it down and discuss the real topic.

No Kemp hate here just some truth for Spwn about kemps 1 good season (and 1 good game this year)

Couldn't agree more!! I have no idea why so many people are so in love with Kemp, the guy has pace but he hasn't done much since 08. When he has played this season I haven't been impressed. He spends 3/4 of the time running sideways which I hate seeing wingers do. I think someone like Gagai is a much better prospect!

i think people here over use exclamation points!
