Willie strikes me as a genuine bloke whenever he's interviewed, as you said Tee, he speaks his mind and doesn't try to sugar coat stuff.

Schmix has a point though, there always seems to be trouble when big Willie's around!

Well time will tell at the Cowboys... hes also a bit older now and not a young buck like he use to be. Still like I said time will tell.

I just find it funny a guy that hasn't done anything illeagal other than piss on a wall and have people point fingers at him saying he did/does coke. There are a few players out there some closer tohome than we think that have the same fingers pointed at then on a regular basis. No proof just people either trying to bring the tall poppies down or where there is smoke there is fire.

Didn't he get fined $25000 by the Bulldogs for doing drugs?

He has been blamed more than once for problems between players. Whether he is actually at fault or not, there is a reason people want to blame him - do they not like him? Does he have issues getting along with others? Who knows. All I know is that his name comes up a lot, and I don't think he offers enough on the field to make the risk worth it.

In terms of him being outspoken, he has often dumped his club in the shit because his comments just fired up the other team. I actually have no issue with the way Locky speaks to the press. Transparency can be more fun for us as viewers, but I think it's better for the team if certain things are kept behind closed doors.

Mason is a fun character to have in league, I just don't want him at my club.

I like Mason I just can't see why our club would be interested in him.. Time will tell if we get him or not.

+1.

I can't see him leaving Tsv to be frank.

I wouldn't want to pin my hopes too high, but here's what Inglis agent had to say about Inglis not staying at the Storm:

Gainey said it was unlikely Inglis would consider moving to a Sydney club if he is ever forced out of Melbourne. AFL club Essendon and the Brisbane Broncos would appear his most likely destinations if he were to remain in Australia.

Inglis would look so good in the Broncos jersey! [icon_pray.

XXL size :P

Still smaller than CW size.

At least we now know that the Broncos are being considered by Inglis if he has to leave. I'm not to sure how much of that article is fact and how much was made up but if the part about the Broncos being one of two options if Ingliss has to leave the storm is true that its great news.

Espectially considering that the other team is an AFL team and I am assuming essendon would not be able to throw the same type of money around at Ingliss. We might even be able to macth what a AFL team were offering.

If Storm has to let go one of the four my guess is it will be Ingliss. Two much resolves around Smith, Cronk and Slater.

Inglis is more likely to play for the Bombers than the Broncos IMO. Also Cronk is being rumored to be off to the Eels next season! I think the storm need to lose 2 of the 4 to stay competitive.

Isnt the AFL chipping in $500k for any club that signs inglis?

Maybe the NRL should chip in $500K for Mick Gatto to knock off Demetriou? :P

I say this in jest peoples!!!

I don't understand the AFL, they are morons. Signing Inglis isn't going to bring them any more publicity than they've already received through signing Folau.

Besides, if Inglis was to sign for the AFL, I'm sure it would be for a Melbourne team, and the AFL isn't exactly short of fans in Melbourne.

Ofcourse they need to lose 2 of the 4, all these articles suggesting they just have to get rid of 1 is rubbish.

They are 1.5 million over the cap(or something close to that soon to be confirmed) they need to shed 2 star players to have a chance of getting back under the cap.

All those average first graders on 100-150k need to be replaced by a 55k player minimum if they can replace them all with minimum wage players.

Inglis in a Broncos jersey.... YESSSS SIRRRRRRR!!!

The Storm are still saying that they may not have to lose any of the big 4

I reckon the Storm will have to let one of the four go at least. Like i said i cant see it being Slater, Cronk or Smith because they are the centre of the team. All there plays come from these three players.

Unless the NRL increases the salary cap by a massive 1.5mil a year i'd almost guarantee Ingliss, Cronk, Slater and Smith will not be playing in the same jersey next year. Let me re-phrase that "club jersey", Qld jersey yes but not the same club jersey!
