Not if we have to pay him overs to get him. IIRC he is getting about $350k from the Bulldogs, and I doubt he would take a pay cut to play for us, so no thankyou Benny.

That would be stupid. If you have salary cap space you should always use it. Unless we use the money to lock all the good youngins long term although I thought that was already done but I'm sure even longer contracts are good :)draggx said:#1 Kemp fan said:Sorry Hannant we don't want you back, go to the Titans and suck up half there salary cap you greedy bugger.

I would be fine with no new signings at this point for next yr.
THE Warriors face an enormous battle to keep Brent Tate, with the former Broncos centre considering a return to Australia.
His pre-season disrupted by a quadriceps injury, Tate returns to NRL action against the Titans today at Skilled Park after overcoming two serious knee injuries in three seasons.
But just as significant for Tate is his future at the Warriors beyond 2010.
Off-contract at season's end, the 28-year-old says he is happy in New Zealand but will weigh up his options, which could include a return to the Broncos club he served for seven seasons.
The former Queensland and Test flyer has already attracted big-money offers from two Super League clubs.
"My focus has been trying to get my body right but that (coming back to Australia) has been in the back of my head," said Tate, who played just three games for the Warriors last season due to injury.
"I'd be lying if I said it wasn't. At this stage, I need to get some game time and when I do, I'll be weighing up my options but first I need to play some good football.
"I had some great times at the Broncos but I don't want to say too much publicly. Last time my future was played out in the media a lot and it became pretty distracting. I got caught in that trap, so this time I'll worry about football.
"I do feel like I owe the Warriors so I haven't ruled out staying. We haven't had talks yet, I'll get a better gauge of where I stand in the next few months."
Tate's manager George Mimis said the prospect of Tate returning to Red Hill was not improbable.
"Stranger things have happened than Brent going back to the Broncos," he said.
"I'm not sure what the Broncos' plans are but they have an interesting situation with Israel Folau, he has an option in his contract (to quit Brisbane at season's end)."
