Yes but if the club rated Baptiste at all surely he would be getting a run now.

We make so many strange/incorrect selections though so it's not really fair to say that. Copley keeps getting overlooked too but I'm sure the club rates him highly.

Doubt slater, but the other two were in the works before the whole Storm or Izzy saga, so they were never reliant on Izzy going, the only reason Melbourne players are being linked to us is because Izzy is leaving and Bruno said the club will be replacing him with a marquee back. Excluding any younger guys who may get upgrades, we would be looking at having close to a quarter of the cap free for next season as it stands atm.

We will still cop the usual BS about being over the cap but who cares
