I am dissapointed Kemp is with QCUP, I don't think he should be back there. Hope it doesn't ruin his confidence.

nopatience 101 you obviously have no idea how long it takes to recover from an injury like kemp copped. he was a week-to-week case that's why was not on injured list. I find it amazing people can bag a guy for not playing when injured. people have very short memories around here played 4 games one when injured against knights and the other was when he got injured against warriors. and oh yeh scored that massive try against the cowboys.

Yeah, I was happy with how he was travelling apart from the two games playing injured. One game he was quiet and did something stupid, but the whole freaking team were falling apart, so for him to get picked on is pretty stupid.

Yeah, meanwhile people excuse Yow Yeh and Winterstein's average form this year because they're playing with injury.

Seems double standards against a player who was forced out of the club unwillingly and wanted to come back...apparently the fact he left is disloyalty so he doesn't deserve respect.

Where did i bag Kemp even once?

He was available for selection against the sharks,

Andrew McCullough, who has had a torn pectoral muscle, and Kemp (ribs) are certain to be available for selection

...all i said was he was behind the guys on the wing now and cant get a run and that i didn't know where he had gone the last couple of weeks. For the record i think he showed he is a very courageous player for playing on with broken ribs and a collapsed lung.

They predicted he would be but unfortunately he was still injured. I feel for the kid he has had a tough run with injuries this year.

Yeah I'm not sure why blamed nopatience101 for bagging him, I couldn't find that either. Maybe a bit of misunderstanding? Anyways, I don't think Kemp has been available for selection up until this game because of the injury? Anyways, Coxy is right, it's not really fair to bag people out when they are playing with an injury, how can they perform to their best when they don't feel their best. It looks YY has his heavy strapping removed? He seems to be playing better lately. Back on topic, Kemp moving to QCup is not fair or good. Rip it up them this Saturday Kempy so you can come back to the Broncos.

It's only fair for him to go back to Qcup.
There's only 5-6 players at the Broncos who are automatic selection back in the team, Kemp isn't one of them.
Unless Yow Yeh or Winter play bad and we start losing they don't deserve to be dropped.

I'm a big fan of Kemp, his time will come but not for the next few weeks.

IMO Kemp has earned automatic selection, and since we have been winning you don't change the side unless you have to.

If Winterstein signs with the Cows, should we replace him with Kemp? I don't think it's the same case as with Folau, because Winterstein isn't necessarily the best option on the wing.

I haven't actually seen anyone call Kemp disloyal?

No, IMO players leaving makes no difference to who should get picked. You pick your best 17, and at the moment Yow Yeh and Winterstein are our fittest and best performing wingers.

If Kemp finds form in Q Cup and Winterstein's form continues to be par at best, then there might be a case.

I'm a huge Kemp fan, and when fit and at his best IMO he's the best winger in the club. But he's neither fit nor in form right now so needs to earn his way back into the team. I have no dramas with that at all.

ning: search the threads a bit closer. I'm pretty sure some of the Kemp baggers point out the fact he left the club.

Well that's ludicrous then.

Yes.
If Winter leaves then back to reserves, he's not really above Kemp by much if at all so it's better to go with someone who will be with us next year. Not straight away though, maybe in 5-6 weeks time, if we keep form no one should be dropped and only if Kemp is in good form.

I'm not usually the sort of person who asks for a player to be dropped because they're leaving but there is so little difference between our 3 wingers that if any one of them goes the other 2 should take the first grade spots.

In saying that I really hope Winterstein doesn't leave, competition is good.

Well you would think if they're letting one go then they are intending on signing the other ?
I can't see Kemp going though.

Yep. And unfortunately for him he has been crueled with injury so far, and had no opportunity to show he deserves an extended stay.

I hope for his sake he does enough to show the coaching staff he deserves to stay on in 2011. He's a quality player.

You can bet that IF Winterstein signs with the Cowgirls then Kemp will be offered a new contract
