Farah was initially going to be selected because Cronk suffered an injury against the Kiwis but Sheens made a last minute decision. Then he had to leave the camp early because his mum was seriously ill.

The papers really love slinging dirt at the West Tigers. There's been some terrible rumours doing the rounds about them.

What about these Farah rumours, had a waaah that he didn't get selected in the Aussie team. If that's true, the dude is effed in the head. To think he'd be selected over Cam Smith or Cooper Cronk on the bench is laughable.

It's more than doubtful he'd make the squad under any other coach. They took 4 halves so he's certainly not cover for 6 or 7. Take Ennis as the origin incumbent who is arguably more versatile - he can play backrow - and I'm left scratching my head how he's there.

At club level Farah is miles better than Ennis IMO so not hard to see why he was the back up hooker.

Personally I would have selected Ballin. Selectors always seem hell bent on selecting as many premiership winners as possible, so why not select one of Manly's finest with Ballin? If nothing else he's the closest thing Australia has to Cam Smith and IMO had a much better season than Farah or Ennis.

They said on NRL on fox tonight that DCE has asked for a release from the final year of his contract. his manager is saying that there are players in the u20s that make what DCE makes.

also they said that Mason will be in the NRL next year, he's currently negotiating with 2 clubs and an announcement will be made in less than a week.
