Agreed, that year with the Warriors and the injuries in 2010 really did a number on him though. If he worked hard instead of having a sook he would've taken Copley/Gagai's wing spot.

He tried to come back too early from the ribs/busted lung injuries. In the QCup games he played, he'd deadset make one run or tackle, clutch his ribs and then hobble off injured. It was a sorry sight.

Yeh, I agree with this. I liked him a lot, but he seems like a dude who is more interested in self pity than working hard to get back on top.

Some of you are underestimating that injury, a punctuated lung isn't something you can easily comeback from and trying to comeback as soon as he could prevented him from ever being right for us again.

Kemp was always a little overrated on here due to his famous 2008 form and the passion he showed towards the club but he was definitely a handy player who at the right club could be a handy addition. Considering all the wingers doing the rounds in the NRL, you could do far worse than Denan.

Warriors have pre-ordered Thomas Leuluai for 2013 on a 3 year deal all but confirming the departure of James Maloney. All I've got to ask is why?

Maloney wants to return to Australia. With his stocks as high as they are now I can't see the Warriors being able to keep him.

Not so much on Maloney but why would you sign a player like Leuluai for 3 years? He's bog ordinary and the likes of Johnson and Tuimavave are the way of the future.

The next phase of Maloney's career will be interesting. He certainly made an impact at the Warriors but after they had gone through players like Witt, Rovelli and old man Jones it was always going to be on the cards. Behind a lesser forward pack it shall be interesting to see.
