Des Hasler has officially signed with the Bulldogs for 2012.

Things continue to get worse for the reigning premiers with star fullback Brett Stewart confirming that he has a get out clause and is looking to put himself on the open market.

And in other news Parramatta have listed their first grade squad on their website revealing the signings of: Cheyse Blair (Sydney Roosters), Jon Mannah (Cronulla Sharks), Matthew Ryan (Balmain Tigers NSW Cup), Troy Savage (Newtown Jets NSW Cup) and Nathan Smith (Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs). There is also word that Willie Mataka (Sydney Roosters) has also signed with Kearney's men.

i read today that the deadline has now passed and Stewart has to remain at Manly for 2012. The Manly board also had a winge about Hasler be involved with the players contracts and many had clauses in them that allowed players to leave if Hasler left. apparently they wont be putting that sort of clause in contracts again

That sort of thing should never be in contracts.
