Back on topic...next person who suggests Quade Cooper should watch today's Quarter Final. He made Paul Carige look like Darren Lockyer. He's an absolute fool.

On your topic, Cooper is just like Marshall.. he can win you a game but also lose you a game, Both awesome players to watch when on their game.

Except Marshall also knows how to play a controlled game when it's needed. Cooper is all flash and no brains. At all.

So next person who suggests he might come here, give yourself an upper cut. I hope he comes to league, plays for Parra and stinks as much as I think he will.

You might wanna watch more than the token Australia match before making such claims, Cooper has plaid plenty of controlled games while playing for The Reds. No doubt he has played terrible during the world cup, but club wise he was unreal.

I'd still love to see Cooper give league a crack, in a more structured game like league he could really shine.
 
A club would be stupid to throw anything more than 300K at him.

Has issues that I feel will be exposed in League.

Only issue i can see is defense, Locky learned how to tackle, Soward gets by as well.
 
Lockyer and Soward's defensive woes were overexagerated. They're not with Cooper.

Cooper won't have anywhere near as much as he has in Union and with more pressure and defensive work he'll struggle.
 
No doubt he will struggle never denied defense is an issue. it can only get better and i think it would.
 
Agreed Coxy, watching today's game he lacked the resolve of a good half or 5/8. Give me Berrick Barnes any day! I wish he stayed around, he would be perfect to replace Locky(IMO)...
 
His initials QC would give the impression that he has some smarts about him but I'm yet to see it. He'd fail in league.
 
Cooper had one of the all time great shockers. It was painful to watch. Whether it's burn out, getting worn down by the constant heckling of the NZ crowd or the set up under Deans, I'm not sure. It's certainly not his ability as a player.

On Foran - he is miles better than DCE. When it comes to both potential and what they've delivered - they aren't in the same post code. Obviously that is at this point in their careers.
 
I've never seen another player take the wrong option soo many times. He tries to take on the defence at the wrong times.

It's funny how berricks kicks were more effective and also the right option

IMO: It's because he's so over-rated.
