Hasn't been mentioned in a while, for obvious reasons, but if we get absolutely desperate we could just slot Mbye at left centre again. He's the only guy available who A) Actually spent the entire year playing centre and B) Has origin experience.
Admittedly he's not good, but I'm sure he could plug a hole and not be a complete liability, which could be more than you can say for some other options being thrown up like Brenko Lee & Phillip Sami.

I have to disagree. Mbye is the definition of a liability.
The bloke isn't good enough to start for the Tigers let alone play origin.
For me he's with O'Neill and Chambers in the "never, ever again basket".

is that official ... the report i read, was basically that it was speculated Hodges could be axed and Hodges said he wasn't sure what was going to happen, but he wanted to continue on in the role
