You can't be loyal to every player, every year. There is always going to be a few spots that will go to those currently in form.

Plus Corey Parker has hardly been an integral part of the QLD team over the past ~5 years.

If we could have a team of 18 - 20 players, sure we could be loyal to everyone, but we cant so thats a stupid thing to say. Parker was only there last year because of injuries and suspensions anyway, so of course if we are being loyal we bring back who he was replacing in the first place.

The 'well, we'll never know if he'd be a better selection because he didn't play' argument can be applied to anyone.

Who's to say Rovelli couldn't have been a better selection than Lockyer? He never got his shot.

Lockyer did us proud, heavily involved in those 3 series win despite coming back from a serious knee injury.

Show's time will come, that kid looks made for Origin and he should be the first player to come in when there is an injury to the forward pack.
