QLD- will they do it?

I think that is one of the problems, Johnson, Ashley Harrison, David Stagg and Corey are similar players and all can go the 80 minutes, but you only really need one, or at the most two of those in the side, you need some players that will provide real aggression and impact imo.

On current form Parker could be picked at lock but obviously the QLD selectors will stick with who has played in the 3 previous series which could be our downfall IMO. Harrison is a must IMO he was very good last year and deserves a spot. I think there is room for 1 of Johnson/Parker/Stagg and Harrison will be selected.

I think parker is a good week to week player, but i dont think he is made for origin. Same with stagg, cept hes not good week to week.

I thought you were Stagg's Number 1 fan???? IT is a harsh call on Parker as he hasn't really had a chance to prove himself at origin level..

I wouldn't say every single week, he started great and has been solid the last month or so. He doesn't offer enough to be in my side.

IMO, Stagg, Johnson, Parker and Harrison fit in to the same category and you need someone like them in your team, but i don't think you can afford more than 1 of that type of player. but, i think that Parker is the better attacking player out of the four.

At the moment I'm thinking Harrison. Johnson hasn't really impressed me this year and Parker and Stagg I'm not convinced are ready for origin. Parker is getting there, but Harrison adds the most in attack out of the four at the moment IMO.

Yep I agree Parker deserves a run but the players ahead of him have done nothing wrong. Purely for him to be Captain and give the Broncos a better chance of winning I would prefer others ahead of him.

Previously the QLD 1-10 were all certainties, well with Crocker back, QLD's 1-11 should now be certainties IMO.

Disagree. Crocker at the peak of his limited powers, combined with his passion and aggression, was good for Origin. He's nowhere near his peak anymore, and aggression and passion alone will not be good enough.

He should not be there for Origin 1. He needs to show consistent form for the next few weeks and maybe he's a shot for game 2.

I disagree. When given the maroon jersey he grows another leg. And his performance on Sunday, while more solid than great, was enough to convince me that they should just throw him back in. I don't reckon Crocker's ever gone into an Origin series on the back of good form, he's just gotta be there!!

You guys have all omitted Ash Harrison! Why?

He's not flashy, but has a huge workrate and did the job last year. 80 minute man.

IMO, Harrison or Stagg must make it, and I prefer Ash because he did it just last season and is still playing solid for Titans.
