Carey being captain ahead of Khawaja & Head seems noteworthy..

Hugely so. Head is the one I find especially odd considering he's still definitely young enough to get back into the Test side at some point.

I think Carey is safer, and secure if Paine was injured he'd be good to go while Head and Usman need runs to make that Test side.

Give them nothing to worry about except making 100.

I definitely think this makes sense.

Game Day. Need to win last two games.

Today and Tas on the 18 of Novmber- Bulls on 14 and WA on 18 points but SA are on 14 too.

Top two play in final on the 26/11 so it's pretty close.

Bulls batting

0/12 after two.

Bright start.

Bryant puts 16 on in one over

hopefully he keeps his head and makes a decent score

He’s an exciting prospect, just needs to learn gears.

Bit tired of exciting- I want 1000 runs a year and big 100's under pressure.

Maybe I am old.

Street 4*
Labuschagne 20*

Two of the big three done with- Burns 1 and Usman 31. Burns' run out- really that was poor.

He’s still a kid. Hopefully he gets good coaching because he strikes the ball so cleanly and has the potential to be an imposing opener in the Sehwag, Warner, Sharma mold.

That middle order for Qld blows at the moment. Constantly given a great platform and constantly drop like flies.

In other news, Maddinson HAS to be in the first test side.

Agree, I'd have him over Head, Wade & Patterson for the last middle order spot atm.

1. Warner
2. ??????
3. Labuschagne
4. Smith
5. Maddinson
6. Pucovski / All-Rounder
7. Paine (c)

I'd have him opening. I'd give Wade at least two tests, he is coming off a hundred last test.

I tell you what as well, Pucovski has not really set the world on fire so far this season.
