Queensland Cup 2012 Discussion

Heading down to Kougari to watch Wynnum and Tweed play today. Wynnum are red hot favs and of the 2 teams are the only team capable of upsetting the fins. I think they will win well today.

Imagine if Ryan James and Brad Davis had kids? Picture Davis's dropped pie face and James' caveman hair and body...

What's the opposite of evolution?

Redcliffe-Wynnum GF would be a true spectacle IMO.

+1

For a chance to spank the wynscum girls once again.....I also hope the Seagulls beat the Seagulls.

The first 25 minutes of this Tweed Wynumm game was NRL standard.

Some QCup games were more NRL standard then some NRL games this year.

any bronco player . go back to play in QLD CUP ?

did any bronco player . go back to play in QLD CUP ? bundy cup . .or any other league. after bronco finished nrl 2 weeks ago ??

Re: any bronco player . go back to play in QLD CUP ?

yes

As expected Wynnum won well today. It was a very physical game and Ryan James was a target after the last time they played.
He copped a lot from the Wynnum players but I have to say he kept coming all day. A couple of the Wynnum boys will be lucky to be there next week.

If someone forced me to pick, I'd say Redcliffe. But I honestly can't split them.

After watching them last week, I reckon Wynnum have peaked at the perfect time - their pack is definitely capable of rattling the Dolphins as well. The Phins are just so bloody dangerous though, can score from anywhere.

Have the feeling we'll be in for something special, can see it going right down to the wire.

Clean sweep for Reddy in all three grades mate? :P

A Clean Sweep is the aim!

There won't be much in the Colts. But if Zac Strasser plays like he did last weekend I don't think Redcliffe can get beaten. He is all class

FogsCup should be a good encounter. Your blokes will be tough. I hope Redcliffe get up for this game. The last 2 years they've been the pride of the club on GF day but they've been lost in the wash a bit this week. If they are off even slightly I know Easts will be ready to pounce.

And in the big one is set to be a classic. I don't think my nerves can handle a close one but I think that's the way it's headed. With Farrell out, Wynnum have a slight advantage in the forwards - but as long the Phins pack can hold their own I think the fire power of the backline will be enough to get us home

Will need to pull out something special in FOGS, your boys have only lost twice all season. I think the biggest issue for Easts is belief, they definitely have the talent. Also need the pack to play an exceptionally tough game. Hope Maeli Seve is on song too, has the ability to tear a game open on his own, produced some brilliant stuff in the prelim.

Should be a great day though, couldn't really (aside from the Tigers obviously hah) ask for a better match-up in the top grade. Top two teams, traditional clubs with big supporter bases. Can't wait.

Anyone watching the GF?

Redcliffe has just scored first. Georgetown just set a record for scoring in 17 consecutive games.

Gee Wynnum needed that try. Fauid looks dangerous
