What the hell did Willison do that they all came at him like that.

He was strong and certainly worked hard but he’s played nearly 100 Cup games you’d expect nothing else.

It’s only his second Cup game at the Broncos and he played 88 at the Cows so I think he’s still winning.

Souths should win by 60 today, trick will be for Mozer, Paix and Sailor to make sure the ball is getting to where it needs to be to score 60 but not trying to score 60.

Mozer's attack has improved the last month, the Toowoomba game was a turning point. He's counting players and he's working out sets.

He's going to have 10 less minutes today and probably if Hunt plays it the same as the Tweed game Paix played he'll play the second half so can he keep it going at 30-0.

Another good football context of learning today.
 
Good test of Hunt too- can he keep their heads in a game they're supposed to win. Last year Jets beat Souths and this was last v second last. Now it's last v first.

It sounds like it's been a hell of a coaching effort from Khunt with Souths this year... recall they were absolute trash last year and getting belted most weeks... this year he's got them top of the table.

Usually unheard of to transform a team that quickly.

It's been great to watch. Souths did a great job of fixing coming last- they decided the coach was better suited to admin so he's now CEO and Hunt was promoted to coach from Under 18.

They identified the type of players needed and attached names to those attributes and went out and got what they needed.

Then fixed the football, they have halved their defence from 30 points a game to 16 and their attack is outstanding- they can just blow teams away. Last week it was 10-10 against the Bears and then 30-10 at half time.

Plenty would argue yeah but they get four Broncos every week that helps- they had them last year too and were getting beaten 72-0.

Pereria has improved, Sailor is a bit safer- pretty sure he doesn't save that try against the Warriors last season. Bayliss is playing his best ever Cup.

Fai was sent off for running in throwing fists for Willison.

Madden stuffed up that last play- 79th minute hitting the forward and him running 10m to score is remote- needed to go out the back and keep it alive.
 
It was 62-0 so you'd expect big metres.

Mariner 221m, seven tackle breaks.
Hoeter 165m, three tries and seven tackle breaks
Rogers 104m three try assists and 22 points
Palasia 136m
Jensen 205m

Four missed tackles out of the lot of them.

Wynnum made nearly 1km more in metres!
 
Leota taken off after 20 minutes today and never came back.
 
Will be interested to see how Paix goes back at this level.

Will he try to overplay his hand or will he fit into the system that they've got going
