Sloppy start from Wynnum- as soon as they get ball Mariner too fast. That re-treating defence from Tigers, you're not stopping Mariner going backwards.

Seagulls and Tigers need to attack left. Remis Smith is destroying them and Mariner and Hartwig going at Prezet.

Mariner from the scrum takes three to hold him up. Limping now.

Terrible ruck defence from Willison/Wynnum, sort of stopped and then didn't go. Straight through the middle and Tigers score.

Wynnum ruck defence is pretty loose.

What's the word on Mariner then? Proper injury or just a bit sore?

Jensen was huge today, if he didn't get Wynnum's player's player something is wrong. Every set he was working hard and kept Wynnum in it.

Two weeks ago I raised Paix and Mozer concerns.

I don't think the current rotation with Paix is helping. Mozer's stretch from Bears, Hunters and Toowoomba was very good- Minutes and attack was up and then Paix gets dropped and they have played three games together and Souths are clunky and disjointed.

Last game against Easts was after two weeks off so I am waiting until tomorrow to see if it improves but I don't think it's ideal that Mozer was finding form and minutes and now gets it cut in half.

I have watched it carefully the last two weeks.

Mozer on Saturday- two runs and nine metres in 44 minutes.

His best game against the Hunters- 71 minutes, 8 runs, 50 metres, one line break, one line break assists, one try assist.

Bears-53 minutes, two tries, four runs, two-line breaks, one line break assist, one ty assist.

I think it's even pulling Souths down- two-point loss to Easts, 12-point win over Wynnum but 24 points against in the second half, four-point loss to Capras in the last three weeks.

Actually......I raised the concerns about Mozer. 😉

Sounds like the lack of game time has sent him backwards.......

Faalogo again, how long is Bellamy keeping him out?

26 Cup games now and 17 tries, he just can't be stopped.

10. Corey Jensen – Wynnum Manly Seagulls

Every time Jensen touched the ball on Sunday, he made his presence felt. The Brisbane Broncos forward ran for a massive 251 metres and made 24 tackles and one tackle bust in his 59 minutes on the field. Elsewhere, Central Queensland's Bailey Butler was a standout in their upset win over Souths Logan with a try, 146 run metres, eight tackle breaks, one line break and one line break assist.
