Langer Trophy Grand Final.

Ipswich State High in four grades and PBC not happy at losing last year and looking for win number 13 in the final.

With Weaver making his debut last week there was six PBC halves playing in the NRL last round- Weaver, Hughes, Dearden, Walker, Sexton and Fogarty.

That's a good halves school production line.

Peckham Harris is going to have to be MOTM for Ipswich I think. Jack Laing and David Leota have to have big games.

Sam Stephenson scares me and I wouldn't be surprised if he does a Mariner and scores two or three tries.
 
PBC just won the moments. Ipswich up 6-0 but then in 20 minutes down 16-12.

Should have put that last play through the hands!
 
Souths v Tigers- Tigers probably in better form at the moment and beat them two weeks ago. Souths have been clunky. But is that because they have one eye on finals or because the 23 bubble has burst and they are happy going from last to second in 12 months.

A lot hinges on Sailor- if he plays there is four tries but then they have to defend. I have lost a big of faith in Souths' defence the last three weeks.

I am going Souths by two in a high scoring game.

Bears v Capras

Bears have made a mess of the last two finals series losing week one and losing week three. I can't see them losing to the Capras.

Four dual premiership winners in the Bears. No way they lose.

Redcliffe v Falcons

Te Whare and Fuller back- think they score too many points. Sua Faalogo has been great for the Falcons.

Dolphins too good when it counts.

Wynnum v Pride

Pride will fall away, if they are winning at any time just wait 15 minutes and they won't be anymore.

Rogers to get the Seagulls home.
 
Bayliss has hurt his knee and going off five minutes in.

That's massive for Souths.

What's the impact now for Te Kura? Extra minutes in his first final and hot day. Good test.
 
Jack Smith gets the Magpies over- Easts just giving away penalties but have cracked.

Souths certainly don't look slick but 4-0.
 
Terrible defence from Sailor and Periera for Solomona Faataape to score.
 
Souths off-load and score a good try.

Sailor had very little impact. 10-6 Souths after 23.
 
Terribly uninspiring half of finals football. Both teams look like round one not finals.

Hehe not just reserve grade. I wish we had the ESL refs, they are good and actually rule on what is actually there, not some made up game management stupidity.
 
Terrible from Souths, two penalties in the first set and then a simple try. Worst finals football you can play.

Hunt calmly eating his apple- I would have thrown it.
