Re: Queenslander's passion for sport

baaaaaaaaaaaaaahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha.

There is always another route.

Go and support my team, then go out? Ditch my team and go out? Hmmmm.

Hang on a second......if I mention cost of living as an excuse for people not turning up consistantly to Sydney home games, you all jump on my back and call it an excuse, but then have just used the exact same thing!!

Sydney is the most unaffordable city in the Southern Hempisphere - And you want to talk about ticket prices. Are you fair dinkum? If anyone has an excuse to use ticket prices and cost of living as an excuse not to rock up to footy games then it's us, not you.

Actually Rock on the radio this morning they were talking about some cost of living research that has just been done and whilst yes they did find that Sydney is the most expensive city in Australia, it was also found that Sydney has the highest incomes of any Australian city for the equivalent jobs. So on balance, Sydney is no worse off when it comes to affordability than any other city. Just saying ......

Go and support my team or stay at home and watch it on TV because Manly fans are sitting in our seats?

Yep - best excuses ever. [icon_lol1.

You're a tool who has missed my point re the Manly fans.

Manly fans sitting in season member seats isn't a reason the fans didn't show up. I only said it was AN INDICATION THAT THEY DIDN'T SHOW UP. Read it again, I didn't say "The Broncos fans didn't turn up because Manly fans were in their seats". I said: "Judging by the big bunch of Manly fans sitting in the middle of the western stand on Friday night (which you pretty much cannot buy seats in these days because season members occupy pretty much all of it), a lot of season members didn't turn up."

Not that hard is it?

Re: Queenslander's passion for sport

This thread is clearly not going where it was intended. BORING!

Exacatly - season members got first dibs on buying their seats for the double header, so the fact that Manly fans were able to buy them says the season members decided not to go.

Re: Queenslander's passion for sport

I fail to see how that is a strength in the forums argument with Rock. Isn't is basically proving his point somewhat?

Turning upto 12 games a year, and missing the extra one on offer, is better than what is turning up down south.

Yeah but you need to understand how it's properly assed though.

What does anal sex have anything to do with it?

I do get your point. But in doing so you gave a little bit more ammo to Rocky.

Feel free to grab a Blue jersey as you leave tonight [icon_wink [icon_razz1

True! In fact, it's that much better that Queenslanders are turning up in droves this year to games. 3,677 more on average per game...that's truly amazing committment from you maroons up there. That's a rather large difference in attendances. Keep up the great work and don't listen to those dirty Blues - the next thing you know they'll be trying to telling you that 3 out of the top 4 average crowd attendnces this year are Sydney teams.............oh wait.

Where is number 1 based? And for how many years?

My IQ has nothing to do with you supporting the milkman's children.
