Nashy said:And that doesn't mean giving away two tickets for one deals.
Porthoz said:Imagine if ticket prices in Sydney were the same as Suncorp Origin games. Pretty sure the nightlife on Wednesday night would suddenly improve massively! [icon_lol1.

I have not been able to get a friggin Origin ticket for Suncorp under $100 in the last 3 years.
In Sydney, it's easy to get one for $60 weeks after they're released...
Mine were $125 a pop... :roll:Jeba said:Porthoz said:They are?schmix said:Porthoz said:Imagine if ticket prices in Sydney were the same as Suncorp Origin games. Pretty sure the nightlife on Wednesday night would suddenly improve massively! [icon_lol1.

I got category 3 tickets to the game last week and paid $95. I think only the restricted view seats are cheaper than that.

Porthoz said:I love my outings with friends or family, but unless I'm tied up (which I've been this season with my son playing most of his games at the same time as the Broncs), I plan them in a way they don't clash with the Broncos games that I can attend. Well, at least that's what I would expect from a supporter, but I guess that's too much to ask from NSW'kers, as it would require a functioning brain... [icon_shru

Garbage! The tunnels have been closed since Melbourne got successful.

Ever since those teams went shite and it was basically the Storm for about 3-4 years... league sorta died. I have to say, the success of the Roosters/Dogs definitely creates hype around the Sydney area. (Eels and Dragons also.)
Say what now? Bulldogs, Roosters, Dragons and Eels crowds are better now than they were back in 2003-2005. In fact, the only Sydney teams which haven't really increased their crowd numbers since then are Penrith and Manly. Even the Sharks have had a few good odd years.
The success of the Dragons, Dogs and Eels in 2009-2010 created some REAL hype, more than that of what the Dogs and Chooks created from 2002-2004.
