Anywayyyy, the thing that sucks about this isn't how good he's playing but that he's obviously a competitor who wants to win. Seems to have a good attitude which is something this club is sorely missing.

The best part of this is Dearden was the chosen one, the one to lead the club into the future, the one we build the club around. We publicly backed him and said all of this and not a whisper about walsh who at every opportunity impressed while dearden couldn't make his mark in ISC.

Also its funny how another young guy we talked up, Tesi Niu who was reffered to as the next lockyer is yet to fire a shot. The guy who is the closest comparison to lockyer (young fullback with speed and ball playing ability) gets no labels at all and we don't talk him up or fight for him at all.

Its almost like if you're not labelled "the next someone" the broncos dont want you.

He has everything Isaako lacks. I'm genuinely shocked that Kevin, the guy who's paid to watch all our players could have watched him and thought this guy isn't ready for first grade, let's go with Isaako.
 
I recommend not going on social media as everyone is fucking giving it to us and I mean everyone! Fox couldn’t be loving this anymore.

And he’s a fair bit better then the guy we currently have at the back! He kicks he passes he breaks the line, he’s built for the modern game.

after tomorrow night when walker ***** us up it will be the new low. The next 5 years are going to be horrendous.

I swear someone on here said that the second the Warriors came knocking, he was gone. Not so much about money, but he's part Kiwi and really wanted to explore that part of his heritage. Living over there etc. @1910 @Smokin' Joe can either of you confirm? There's every chance I was fairly pickled at the time and may have simply imagined it and am now using it as a coping mechanism. He's a star unfortunately.

There wasn't a decent trade on offer.

That wasn't the issue.

Letting him go because $450,000 was considered overs for the best fullback prospect coming through was the issue.

In fairness the whole situation highlights how awful the trade window is but fair play to the Warriors for exploiting it.

Kebin and Peter fucked up either way. If you can't sell Brisbane over Auckland, you're broken.
