Mail coming out of Queensland suggests Wallabies fly half Quade Cooper is in strong negotiations with Brisbane Broncos for 2012.

The Broncos salary cap will be eased significantly by the retirement of Darren Lockyer, and with Wayne Bennett expected to return this story could well develop in the coming weeks.

Cooper, who is contracted with the ARU until the end of 2011, has long been touted as a potential code switcher, with Parramatta having made an early move for the exciting playmaker back in 2010.

YES PLEASE!!!! That's for taking Berrick ARU hahaha

Is Tim Moltzen off contract by any chance?
Even with Lui out for quite a few weeks, Sheens selected him as a centre... [icon_shru
I liked what I saw when he was partnering Benji in the halves, just before his cruelling injury though.

Sheensy at his best.

judging by who we currently have on our books.

i would possibly go with a halves combo of:

6. wallace
7. Hunt

I still feel that Wallace would be better off being at 5/8 rather than half back

and i would spend money on a player unless a genuine quality half was on the market. i would focus on retaining our quality youngsters with the additional funds

I feel Wallace will be much better at 6 . However, I've heard a little whisper who will be chased to replace Locky and it's a great fit IMO, but dependent on the coach.

Q.Cooper ?

[icon_evillaugh Sorry, really can't say at this point, too many ducks too fall into line but I'll tell after it becomes more than just a whisper.

I just heard from a guy with links to the Tits that Quade Cooper is indeed being head hunted by the Broncs. Take it with a grain of salt, but he's not often wrong... [icon_shru

Tee did say it first, so merit where it's due! icon_thumbs_u

(I'd also like to last a bit longer in Survivor...)
